My Bio

I am a current Disaster Action Team member and caseworker for the American Red Cross. I've been volunteering with them since August 2022.


My educational background includes a BS Biomedical Photographic Communications degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology; and an MS of General Studies from Nazareth College; both located in Rochester, New York. While at RIT I also participated in a Preceptorship at Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner Department working as a forensic and morgue photographer.


Today my life is focused on my 9 year old golden-doodle Fyona, and enjoying life! I'm working on moving to Pensacola Florida.


My artwork is centered on alcohol ink and photography. I am very much an ameture in the alcohol ink arena, but I absolutely love the bright colors, the alloys, the metals, the pearls... so pretty! I consider myself to be more towards the professional end in photography as I've been a photographer since I was 10 years old, and I have nearly 4 years of education and 1 year of work experience behind me. I love to photograph flowers, food, the sky, still life, macro, micro... honestly really anything!

Sometimes I wonder...

if people have opinions about the artwork I post on here... its not like anyone reads my posts or journals. so why I am even writing one is beyond me. but here I go anyway. at least I'll feel better in the end. I hope. I'll think a piece is particularly good, and it will get a few stars, but no more than any other piece of work I've posted. or I'll post just a random its okay piece and it will get lots of stars, and then I'll just do some random daily challenge and it will get lots of stars, or no stars and a random deviant who just wants to be a deviant. honestly I see no rhyme or reason to anything. there is no pattern. nothing to give me the least little hint of "oh yes, I should post more of this... or more of that." I don't have time to do research on daily challenges. point blank. I have no inclination to do research on daily challenges. point blank. Crazy dA Wanna Be LoverBoys

I made a post a few weeks back looking for friends in what will be my new hometown area of Pensacola. I had the hopes of making a few new fiends as well as networking in the arts fields... but oddly I ended up with a crazy star crossed lover boys... I'm not even kidding... The first case~ I'll call him Casey. Now, Casey started out nice: he's from Texas. works full time, arts fields, travels, lives in the right area, my age, etc etc... and something there made it so we sort of hit it off, he was easy to talk to and he had a dog too which was a plus as I do, so we'd be able to meet up at a dog park every so often! The second case~ let's call him Ben. He's from Cali. works full time in music industry, travels, lives in Peridido Key, a bit older etc has a couple dogs... Third and final~ We'll call him Jefferey~ From Florida, lives outside of Pensacola, quite a ways out, but still nice to know someone around there, we hit it off as friends, we both have dogs... but for me it was awkward
